EL Golf GTI es un emblema de Volkswagen que cuenta con 210 CV y llega a acelerar de 0 a 100 en 5.6 segundos. Pero ¿cómo representar de manera tangible esos 3 segundos de diferencia que tiene este modelo con otro del mismo segmento? La respuesta fue diseñar una fuente tipográfica especial, con un calado especial que a simple vista no tenía ninguna diferencial con una fuente normal, pero que le permitía a los usuarios comprobar la velocidad de un GTI simplemente imprimiendo los documentos que imprimen a diario.

Golf GTI is Volkswagen’s emblem: it counts on 210 hp and accelerates from 0 to 100 in 5.6 seconds. That means it’s  3 seconds faster than other models within the same segment. But how is it possible to tangibly represent that awesome difference? The answer was a typographic font design with a very particular feature: at first sight it has nothing special vs the rest, but when printed, its users will notice it’s printed faster than any other, because it consumes less ink. That’s how they can experience the speed of a GTI by simply printing the documents they need in less time.
